I grew up in Lake Charles, LA and graduated from Louisiana State University. While there, I earned a degree in Science with a concentration in Athletic Training. During my time at LSU, I worked with both the LSU baseball and football teams. After graduating college, I worked with the New Orleans Saints. I currently live in Cypress, TX with my wonderful wife, Allie, and work for Cypress Falls High School as a Football and Track coach and Health Science teacher. Hunting has always been a passion of mine that I've held dear throughout my life. Growing up in southwest Louisiana offered an abundance of places to hunt and fish. My dad and grandpa took me on my first hunt when I was 5 years old. Even though I was only able to shoot a BB gun, I quickly became hooked. My high school and college years were spent hunting the marshes and rice fields in Louisiana. My dad and grandpa taught me all about hunting traditions and heritage. Looking back, hunting has definitely shaped part of who I am today. Waterfowl hunting is enjoyable and fun whether you fill your limit, or skunk for the day. The fellowship and bonding with family and friends through unique experiences in the field keeps me coming back year after year. Another reason I make time to hunt are my black labs Duke and Eleanor. I take great pride in building a strong relationship of trust and love with them every day. Watching them look up at the sky in search of the next flock of birds brings a huge smile to my face. I've never believed in a more honest statement than "a dog is a man's best friend".
